My people never cease to amaze me. This is a wonderful idea as soon as i saw it i wondered about making a US branch to send money to make other branches in other Afrikan countries. This is a long term solution to many trouble effecting our poeple including trade and resources. I recently saw a BBC documentary about African countries on the equator and one segment showed a 70 year old man weighing 120 pounds carrying 60 pounds a day worth of fire wood for sale only to make enough money to buy 2 meals a day. if this man had a bicycle he could triple his income and perhaps have something to save. Asians have been using the strength of bamboo for construction of all kinds for hundreds of years, while the rest of world seems to just think "well they make good fishing poles", once again Great Idea!

However. Arriving at your topic of African technology I beleive with the right resources and people we africans can come up with the technology to be far more efficient than any modern culture and thus propel ourselves farther than any other culture quicker. for instance i have been researching, as much as possible, free energy systems. If i can get just 2 of the 5 inventions i have planned to work we afrikans will have the technology to provide free power and free transportation. Since i am geared toward nation-building i believe these technologies would be a stepping stone to an advanced civilization far above anything any country has realized. Driving cars running on water, powering houses on car batteries or nothing at all, even eating fresh food daily using super efficient hydroponic processes, this is the dream I envision for the people of Afrika.
