I moved to Ghana in 2003, at first more as a part of a homecoming and sick sick sick over life in America, but later their came an attachment toward my heart and a realization that poverty was the root cause of over 70% of all mankinds suffering. If we annhilate poverty, most sickness, crime, ignorance, war would all go with it. We formed an NGO called Nu Directive Missions Foundation with GREAT OBJECTIVES, participation, and enthusiasm, but we are not good at knowing how to fundraise or to sell our ideas. As a matter of fact, that holds true for me personally. I best explain it that its like owning a gold mine, but you do not know how or who to sell your gold to. We have the brains and people ready to go, organizing skills are lacking. So, I support myself together with my husband from our ebaystore online and the local customers in Ghana who visit our bookstore. We tried several attempts at selling the business proposal. When I put it online I was several of the members were concerned that it might be stolen, but I began to realize that even if someone stole the idea and put it to use it would be better than sitting in our laps helpless, I had it on the internet for nearly three years at 19.99/mo, but couldn't afford to keep it going.
